Dr. Michelle Gonzales | Dentist in Parkland & Pembroke Pines

Dr. Gonzales began her dental journey as a pre-med student until the day she was called upon to help an attending dentist at a community health clinic. A middle-aged woman sat at the dental chair and began to cry while covering her mouth in shame. Dr. Gonzales asked her how she could help as the lady removed her hand from her mouth to reveal broken, stained teeth. The attending dentist got to work and when he was done, he brought a mirror and showed the lady her new smile. This time she was crying but with tears of joy. Needless to say, it was then that Dr.  Gonzales decided to pursue dentistry.  She realized the immediate gratification of turning a frown into a smile.

Dr. Michelle Gonzales received her doctorate of medical dentistry from the University of Florida College of Dentistry.  She is a dedicated member of the American Dental Association and Florida Dental Association since 2015.  As an active oral healthcare provider, Dr. Gonzales understands the importance of building patient trust and consistent comprehensive dental care. She is an advocate for oral health education, prevention, and community contribution. Dr. Gonzales understands the importance of feeling comfortable with your dental home and believes in building trust with her patients.  She was born and raised in Long Beach, California and enjoys cooking, diversity of food and cultures. Her four sons are a constant source of laughter and unexpected ventures.
